How to Become a Massage Therapist in Utah
To become a massage therapist in Utah, you must obtain a massage therapist license from the Utah Division of Professional Licensing. This license is required to practice massage therapy and needs to be renewed every odd-numbered year. To apply for a license, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete 600 hours of approved formal massage therapy education
- Pass the MBLEx
- Pass a background check
- Pay the application fee
