Georgia Massage License Guidelines
To become a massage therapist in Georgia, you must obtain a massage therapist license from the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy. This license is required to practice massage therapy and needs to be renewed every two years. To apply for a license, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete 500 hours of training from a board-recognized massage program
- Pass the MBLEx Exam
- Pass a background check
- Submit proof of liability insurance
- Pay the application fee
