The most your policy will pay in a 12 month policy period for bodily injury and property damage claims that you become legally obligated to pay due to your business and professional services.

The maximum amount your policy will pay in a 12-month period for bodily injury and property damage claims that result from the products you use to perform your services. However, it does not cover products that are sold or distributed.

Illinois Beauty License Guidelines
To offer beauty services in Illinois, you must obtain a beauty operator license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Hair Braiding, and Nail Technology Board). Be sure to check for the most up-to-date guidelines when you’re applying for a license. These are the main steps to become licensed:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Have completed high school or the equivalent.
- For cosmetology: complete 1,500 hours of training at a state-approved cosmetology school.
- For esthetics: complete 750 hours of training at a state-approved esthetician school.
- Submit an online application for the exam through Continental Testing.
- Pay the required fees.
- Pass both the written (theory and practical skill) exams.
- Once you pass, you’ll receive your score report with instructions for applying to the board.
